Still working to add items on the collections page.

So as with everything else getting all the information on this website is taking a bit longer than expected. I had hoped to have items in our collection posted to the collection page this weekend but that did not happen, but not for lack of trying. Currently there are about 150 items in the collection, none of which are currently cataloged. So, the plan was to catalog the items and post photos on the site. I will spare everyone the long story but suffice to say after researching best practices, looking into different ways of doing this, and encountering way too many technical difficulties I ran out of time. Fortunately, I did manage to figure out a system and I was able to start the cataloging process. So it is my new goal to have some photos uploaded next weekend and keep adding a few every week or so. In the meantime, I will say one of the items you can look forward to seeing on the collections page are documents from the Reitzel bottling company from the 1930’s that document their ugly breakup with Dr. Pepper!
